Word of Wisdom: You are not alone, God will be with you always

You can feel lonely even in a crowd, but do not forget - you are never alone. When there is no one in sight, look within for a friend. You will find God with you, always

Today Prayer:Prayer for Hope

Heavenly father, I am your humble servant, I come before you today in need of hope. There are times when I felt helpless, there are times when I feel weak. I pray for hope. I need hope for a better future. I need hope for a better life. I need hope for love and kindness.
Some say that the sky is at its darkest just before the light. I pray that this is true, for all seems dark. I need your light, Lord, in every way.
I pray to be filled with your light from head to toe. To bask in your glory. To know that all is right in the world, as you have planned, and as you want it to be.
Help me to walk in your light, and live my life in faith and glory.

In your name, I pray, Amen.

Protection from Wrongdoing prayer

You thieves, I implore you to be obedient like Jesus Christ, Who obeyed his heavenly Father unto the cross, And to stand without moving out of my sight, In the name of the Trinity. I command you by the power of God And the incarnation of Jesus Christ Not to move out of my sight, like Jesus Christ Stood on Jordan's stormy banks to be baptized by John.
And furthermore, I implore you, horse and rider, To stand still and not to move out of my sight, Like Jesus Christ did stand when he was about To be nailed to the cross to release the Fathers of the church from the bonds of hell.
Thieves, I bind you with the same bonds with which Jesus Our Lord has bound hell; and thus ye shall be bound; And the same Words that bind you shall also release you. In Jesus Name, Amen

Word of Wisdom: It is in the struggles of our lives that we can find the moments of greatest truth.

As hard as it is to understand, it is in the struggles of our lives that we can find the moments of greatest truth. If our hearts and minds are open to your truths, we can find the solace we need for our distress, the wisdom we need for our understanding, and the love we need to sustain us. It’s all in God’s Word. I would encourage anyone who is struggling today to reach for the Bible and turn your pain into His wisdom which will sustain you -- no matter what your circumstances. This is the best time to seek His Face.

Word of wisdom: Better to have love, hope and be optimistic over anger, fear and despair

My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we'll change the world." Jack Layton

Today Prayer: Prayer for Enemies

Lord,
Be with my enemies today as they make decisions.
I ask that you would bring them your thoughts so that they can see and evaluate their life situations through your wisdom. I ask that you would help them to clearly hear your thoughts on what they should do today and every day.
Guide them to recognize the right decision every time. Help them to recognize the blessings that come from making good choices and from developing a deep relationship with you.
I pray that they will realize the lightness of heart that they can have if they will do the right thing. I pray that they will realize the relief that they can have when they do the right thing.
Bring your loving kindness to rescue them from being unkind today. Urge them not to sin against me or anyone else this day. I ask that you would heal the wounds inside of them that pressure them to hurt others. Let them begin to realize the joy of treating others in a godly way.
Bring them thoughts that would help to soften their heart toward you and your will for them.
In Jesus' name, I pray,
Amen Copyright © 2012 Beth McLendon of Inspirational-Prayers.com

Prayer of the day: Prayer for strength when grieving

Lord, at the moment nothing seems to be able to help the loss I feel.
My heart is broken and my spirit mourns.
All I know is that your grace is sufficient.
This day, this hour
Moment by moment
I choose to lean on you,
For when I am at my weakest your strength is strongest.
I pour out my grief to you
And praise you that on this glorious day
When all suffering is extinguished and love has conquered
We shall walk together again.

Word of wisdom:Listen to the voice that matter: God

Stress comes when we allow the many voices in life to drown out the only voice that really matters, the voice of God.
Mary Southerland

Today Prayer: Healing Prayer to the Lord of Mercy and Father of Comfort

Jesus I am turning to you for help in moments of weakness and times of need. I ask you to be with your servant in this illness. Psalm 107:20 says that you send out your Word and heal. So then, please send your healing Word to your servant. In the name of Jesus, drive out all infirmity and sickness from his/her body.
Dear Lord, I ask you to turn this weakness into strength, suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort for others. May your servant trust in your goodness and hope in your faithfulness, even in the middle of this suffering. Let him/her be filled with patience and joy in your presence as he/she waits for your healing touch.
Please restore your servant to full health, dear Father. Remove all fear and doubt from his/her heart by the power of your Holy Spirit, and may you, Lord, be glorified through his life.
As you heal and renew your servant, Lord, may he/she bless and praise you.
All of this I pray in the name of Jesus Christ
.
Amen.

Word of wisdom: Beginning your day without prayer is a big lost

Beginning your day without prayer is like skipping breakfast.

Something will be missing. When you begin your day by communing with the Divine, you are spiritually fortified. Your day flows with grace.

Today Prayer: A Morning Prayer, Prayer is the most important conversation of the day

Lord, little by little You are getting through my befuddled mind to teach me another practical concept about living a life pleasing to You.
Lord Jesus, I know You said that in this world we would have troubles, but for some reason, I really thought there would be fewer problems as I aged, that I would become wise. But life becomes more complicated.
I wonder, Lord, is it because You need to constantly remind us that this earth is not our home…that we are heaven bound?
So many times I forget that people, circumstances or things cannot give me happiness; only You can. I realize now that my discouragement can be because of the lack of trusting You.
This day, Lord, I pray that You will enable me to trust You each time a problem arises. Whenever I get stressed, remind me to turn my eyes on You and Your sufficiency.
My help comes from You, Lord.
Amen by Katherine Kehler

Word of wisdom: Don' t let your problem get the best of you, your problem serves a purpose

God puts your deliverance in a place that would cause you to humble yourself. Your pride is standing in the way of your destiny. You care more about your image then your deliverance.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not the peace of the world. Let not your hearts be troubled and neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) God has freely given His peace to help us endure the troubles, the heartaches and pain in the midst of chaos...Find peace within, despite the confusion and turmoil that surrounds us in the world today. Seek the peace of God which passes all understanding thru the word, prayer & worship. He promised if you keep your mind stayed on Him, He will keep you in perfect peace! (Isaiah 26:3)

Prayer: To bear heavy burdens

O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life's hardships.
Keep us ever in your watch, until we can walk again with light hearts and renewed spirits. In Jesus Name

Amen

word of wisdom: When you feel separated from God, remember that God hasn't abandoned you

When God feels far away, recognize that as a normal part of your spiritual journey, but remember that God hasn't abandoned you.  He has promised always to be with you, but when you don't sense His presence, you're experiencing it in a whole new way.  During the time that you feel separated from God, He can wean you from your attachment to immature thoughts and feelings about Him and help you grow to eventually see Him in clearer ways, experience His love more deeply, and let it flow through you to others.

Prayers going up: Letting go... any & everything that will be displeasing to God

Dear Lord, forgive me for my sins. Please help those I have wronged to forgive me as well. Let them have peace in their hearts, and may you guide me in the way of making amends, if I can help them find that peace. Please also give me the strength to forgive those who have wronged me, Lord.

In my limited knowledge and understanding, I can never truly know another's heart, and so it can never be my place to pass judgment. And though I am made in your image, I am still only human. I do not have all of Creation resting upon my fingertips. You are beyond reproach, but I feel pain, Lord. I seek fairness and justice, atonement for wrongs done against me, in a form that I can see, on a time-scale I can comprehend.

Have mercy on me Lord, for I am small and petty, and seek things which, in the end, have no value. I have tried to rise above, to be magnanimous, like You. But the pain I feel is acute and raw, the wound stagnant, festering, filled with fever. These are a constant distraction, clouding my mind, pulling my gaze backwards in time, taking my focus off of the here-and-now, where I am needed, and more importantly, where I will find you.

I have thought that an apology, an admission of wrongdoing, would help me to forgive. But this has not come. Instead, the more of my heart I commit to this desire, the further I am pulled into the flames of that original betrayal. Fingers and nails rake over my wound, and I am in agony, consumed by grief, anger, jealousy, hatred.

These things are not me, Lord, and have no place in my heart or mind. Have mercy on me and forgive me, for putting my healing and my happiness into the hands of another human being, resting upon the whim of the one who had already failed me. I do not need anything from her, to be able to heal. She did not make me. She cannot unmake me.

Whatever power she may have over me in this fallen world, she has no power over me in my heart, except that which I give her. She will have no victory over my spirit, except that which I forfeit. Neither she nor I will live forever. Each of us will shrink and wither at your feet, become as tiny columns of ash, crumble and be carried away, before the next time you have blinked.

And yet I give her power over me, as though she has something I need. In my nursing of this wound and cultivating of this pain, I have made an idol of her, taken her betrayal as damnation, placed myself at her mercy, made her my savior. Dear Lord, forgive me for this. Forgive me and have mercy. Save me as only you can. Let me put my healing and salvation back into your hands, the One who will never forsake me, never leave me, never turn away from me.

What's, is done. What's lost, is lost. Let me take comfort in the knowledge that Your justice, the only justice, will be done, as you see fit, regardless of what I desire. This is the best I could hope for, and in that knowledge I am set free, as I renew my faith in your complete and total sovereignty.

Dear Lord, let my fever break. Purge me of this infection of heart and mind, seal my wound, and make me new. Let me rejoice that you are merciful, kind, and benevolent, that you are God, beyond all things trivial, petty, and human. Let me rise above to see beyond my own pain, yet save me from hubris and self-righteousness. Keep me humble and always grateful Lord. Let me see the good in your work, the lessons in these trials.

Dear Lord, forgive me for my sins. Help me to forgive this wrong and let go. Peace is here for me, if I will only take it from your outstretched hands. There is nothing more I need do. Please give me strength. Please grant me clarity of mind. Let the trivial, human aspects of this hurt be peeled away. What is left is that which is divine - forgiveness. Let me embrace it. Let it fill me. Let me have the peace which lies within it.     by: anon79

Amen.

Seek the Road to Prayer: I want to hear from you, post your Prayer request

If you Sensing God's presence with you when you pray is exhilarating, but feeling like you're getting no response can be exasperating.  If you want to connect with God but don't seem to be making contact through the way you usually pray, it could be time for to try a new approach.  There are many ways to pray - many roads of communication that can lead you closer to God. I want to hear from you, post your Prayer request below.

Word of wisdom: Don't let your hurt and pain STOP you from BEING who YOU are Destine to be

Sometimes we can become so engrossed with our pain, that we miss the point. Pain can traumatize you to the point where you can't think clearly, you can't reason, it becomes difficult to figure things out. You can have pain so deep that you lose your sense of self, your personality, you become a different person. Don't let your pain STOP you from BEING who YOU are! There is purpose in your pain, reclaim your territory, get your stuff back! I pray that "your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard." (Isaiah 58:8) T D JAKES MIN.

Today Prayer: Prayer for Broken Heart

Lord Jesus, I sit here this morning with a heart that is breaking, knowing that many of your people are in pain and are struggling this day. I know I am not alone in my own personal struggles. I am finding a very real center of your peace falling around me, and I pray that same peace for my struggling brothers and sisters.. I know that pain and struggle are a part of this fallen world in which we live. I know that until the day of your return there will continue to be pain. But I also know that in the midst of that pain and suffering, I see the extended hands of my Savior reaching our from his heavenly dwelling place, calling to me, and to all who struggle.

You have such bright piercing eyes and your compassionate heart for our struggles beats loudly. You are reminding me that everywhere all around me there is evidence of your presence -- and in that I can take hope. To be aware of your presence at this moment is so important in my life. To know that in all things, I can turn to you, and trust you for whatever the circumstances that face me.

You are faithful to those who call you by name and you are gentle and compassionate. Your Word is filled to the brim with hope, and you’re great Kingdom that is to come, a shining light on the horizon, that helps me focus on you and your needs -- instead of my own.

My prayer is for anyone who is at this very moment struggling with things beyond their own control. My prayer is a cry to my King asking for His arms of protection to fall on each one of them. Whatever their struggle this day, Lord, I pray you will reveal your purposes in that struggle, and I ask you to comfort and sustain the weak ones who are the most susceptible to the snares of Satan -- especially at such a time as this.

I acknowledge in this moment that many times we do not understand the path upon which we walk. Many times we only have enough energy to fall to our knees and acknowledge our weakness. Yet through it all you are with us -- through it all you gently whisper your truths into our ears. How grateful I am -- especially in this time of struggle -- that you are who you say you are, and you do what you say you do. How blessed I am to serve a God who cherishes his children and provides for all of their needs!

My greatest desire is to serve you and your people, and my heart of worship for you sustains me -- especially in this season of struggle. There is no better way to live than in your service. Give us all the wisdom we need to discern the counterfeits that are in place everywhere, and grant us your loving and compassionate heart to all we meet so we can be true witnesses of your truths.

In this moment and at this time -- Your truths sustain me. I fall to my knees acknowledging my weakness, and then, seeing your strength, you reach out from above to touch your hand to mine. May all I do this day bring you honor and glory! In Jesus Name, Amen

Word of wisdom: Don't live in fear of being hurt tomorrow because someone hurt you today

Just because someone hurt you yesterday
doesn't mean you should start living life today
in constant fear of being hurt tomorrow

Today Prayer: Prayer to love your Enemies

Lord, help me to love my enemies, O Lord. Even though they desire to see me fall.

My enemies have driven me into Thy embrace more than friends have.
My friends have bound me to earth, enemies have loosed me from earth and have demolished all my aspirations in the world.
My enemies have made me a stranger in worldly realms and an extraneous inhabitant of the world.
Just as a hunted animal finds safer shelter than an un-hunted animal does, so have I, persecuted by enemies, found the safest sanctuary, having ensconced myself beneath Thy tabernacle, where neither friends nor enemies can slay my soul.
Bless my enemies, O Lord. Even I bless them and do not curse them.
They, rather than I, have confessed my sins before the world.
They have punished me, whenever I have hesitated to punish myself.
They have tormented me, whenever I have tried to flee torments.
They have scolded me, whenever I have flattered myself They have spat upon me, whenever I have filled myself with arrogance.
Bless my enemies, O Lord. Help me to bless them and do not curse them.
Whenever I have made myself wise, they have called me foolish.
Whenever I have made myself mighty, they have mocked me as though I were a dwarf.
Whenever I have wanted to lead people, they have shoved me into the background.
Whenever I have rushed to enrich myself, they have prevented me with an iron hand.
Whenever I thought that I would sleep peacefully, they have wakened me from sleep.
Whenever I have tried to build a home for a long and tranquil life, they have demolished it and driven me out.
Truly, enemies have cut me loose from the world and have stretched out my hands to the hem of Thy garment.
Bless my enemies, O Lord. Even I bless them and do not curse them.
Bless them and multiply them; multiply them and make them even more bitterly against me:
so that my fleeing to Thee may have no return;
so that all hope in men may be scattered like cobwebs;
so that absolute serenity may begin to reign in my soul;
so that my heart may become the grave of my two evil twins: arrogance and anger;
so that I might amass all my treasure in heaven;
ah, so that I may for once be freed from self-deception, which has entangled me in the dreadful web of illusory life.
Enemies have taught me to know what hardly anyone knows, that a person has no enemies in the world except himself.
One hates his enemies only when he fails to realize that they are not enemies, but cruel friends.
It is truly difficult for me to say who has done me more good and who has done me more evil in the world: friends or enemies.
Therefore bless, O Lord, both my friends and my enemies.
A slave curses enemies, for he does not understand.
But a son blesses them, for he understands. For a son knows that his enemies cannot touch his life. Therefore he freely steps among them and prays to God for them.
Bless my enemies, O Lord. Even I bless them and do not curse them.
Amen.

There is a purpose for every person we meet

Do you believe that everyone we meet was destined to be in our life? Well, there is a purpose for every person we meet. Some will come into our life to test us. Some will come into our life to have us available as their convenience and so they can use us. Some will come in our life so smoothly and they will be in our life to teach us life’s experiences. But of all the people we meet, we are destined to meet someone special who knows how to bring out the best in us. Therefore, I do believe everyone we meet is destined to be in our life. There is a purpose for every person we meet.
I am a strong believer that destiny decides who we meet in life, but it’s only us that can decide who gets to stay in our life. Therefore, never regret knowing someone because although bad people bring unhappiness in our life they also give experience, and good people are there to bring happiness in our life. Think about it - the bad people who enter our life always teach us a lesson; and the good people are there to bring us good memories. Although sometimes the people we think we want in our life are not always the people we need in our life, but if we use it as a lesson, the bad can turn into what can bring the best in our life. So we should let go of the bad, let it pass and move on.
In life, you'll realize that this is a journey, filled with what we create of it. Life brings hardships, many experiences, heartaches, amazing joys, and most of all memorable people that we can enjoy many good times with in life. Life is not a rose garden; it is more of a bumpy road that will not be smooth. As we travel this journey called life, as we live and experience life, we will encounter good times as well as bad times. It is up to us to make sure the good days outweigh the bad days. Don’t bury your head in the sand and stop living because you met a bad person. Remember there is a purpose for every person you meet in life.

Word of wisdom: You don't need people to validate your gift, you were gifted before they met you!

You don't need people to validate your gift, you were gifted before they met you! If you're always seeking status to validate who you are, you're never going to have peace. You have to know who you are first and then you can climb to the status. You can't climb up to find yourself, you have to find yourself to climb up. Popularity-based identity is if enough people like me, then "I AM"! Don't base your identity on how many people follow you on social media. Popularity does not validate you or define you. You have to Know who you are to BE it, and then you will Do it! TD Jakes Ministry

Happy Easter

Jesus is the morning star, He is the life. He is the redeemer. He is the savior. May his blessing be upon you on Easter and always.

Today Prayer: Prayer when Facing a Difficult Decision

Oh Holy Spirit, Christ sent you to us for comfort and guidance when He ascended to heaven, and I ask that you be with me now. I have to make a decision and I turn to you, for even though I have made mistakes in the past, I have faith in you and truly desire that "thy will be done." Help me to empty my mind of all sinful motivation and speak to me, in the quietness of spirit, I pray. Give me grace to lead me in the path of the right decision, one that will help me to live in peace and happiness, but above all, one that will serve you, and one that I will look back upon, when my life is drawing to a close, with gratitude and thanks that I did the right thing.
(Sit quietly and listen. If your thoughts intrude, simply repeat "thy will be done" quietly.)
Amen.

Word of Wisdom:Don't let fear stand in the way of your accomplishment

Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use." Earl Nightingale

Today Prayer: Prayer to Forgive Someone Who Has Hurt You so many times

Dear God, please help me to forgive this person for hurting my feelings. Help me to see the greatness in [him/her] and to love [him/her] the way that you love me. Help me to relinquish the anger that I’m experiencing so that I can walk in the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Help me to heal from this incident and to release any bitterness that I may be harboring. Please give me guidance in this situation, Holy Spirit, so that I can approach it in the way that is most pleasing to you. Help me God to do your will. Thank you, and in Jesus’ mighty name, I pray.

Amen.

Word of wisdom: Learning Wisdom

The first step in the acquisition of wisdom is silence, the second listening, the third memory, the fourth practice, the fifth teaching others.
Solomon Ibn Gabriol

The Prayer for Today: Pray to focus on what is important in life

Just for today, help me, God, to remember that my life is a gift, that my health is a blessing, that this new day is filled with awesome potential, that I have the capacity to bring something wholly new and unique and good into this world.
Just for today, help me, God, to remember to be kind and patient to the people who love me, and to those who work with me too. Teach me to see all the beauty that I so often ignore, and to listen to the silent longing of my own soul.
Just for today, help me, God, to remember you.
Let this be a good day, God, full of joy and love.

In Jesus name, Amen

Word of wisdom: Removing unnecessary negativity from your life

If your life is a mess clean it up. THROW AWAY your excuses, SWEEP the negative people out of your life, FIX the problems that you CAN fix and PICK up the pieces of your life one at a time.

Today Prayer: For Strength and Wisdom

Thank you, Lord, for being there for me and allowing me to cry out to you in my times of need.
It is amazing to me that the Lord of the Universe would take the time to listen to me and to care for me and listen to what I say.
God, there are things happening around me right now that I do not understand. Some of these things make me feel weak, helpless and afraid.
Even in the midst of this, I know that you are the Lord.
I know that the situation is in your hand, and I trust you.
plead to you for strength and for wisdom that I would be able to endure this situation and be able to handle it in a way that would bring glory to your name.
In Jesus name. Amen.

Words of Wisdom: Choices -Choosing to think and act positively in situations makes a world of a difference

Choose to love; rather than hate. Choose to laugh; rather than cry. Choose to create; rather than destroy. Choose to persevere; rather than quit. Choose to praise; rather than gossip. Choose to heal; rather than wound. Choose to give; rather than steal. Choose to act; rather than procrastinate. Choose to grow; rather than not. Choose to pray; rather than a curse. Choose to live; rather than die.
Whether we realize it or not even the smallest choices we make throughout a day in time will affect our overall lifestyle and happiness. In times of difficulty we have a choice, we can let our difficult time bring our spirits down, and let it overcome us. Or we can make the best out of the situation, continue to think positive, and try our best to overcome it. Choosing to think and act positively in situations where it may be easier to just do what our flesh tells us to, is how we choose to live our lives instead of dying.

Many of us go through life beating ourselves up and thinking negatively when conditions turn sour. Shutting down when times get hard, and not fighting our natural tendency to just give up, is a major part of actually living life. To avoid shutting down we must laugh instead of cry, love someone when it is very easy to hate, give to someone when you may feel like the only way you can make it is if you steal, not stopping your forward progress when it would be so much easier to just give up! There are many examples of taking the easy way out that we need to avoid in order to actually live our lives, instead of just waiting to die!

Prayer for Today: Prayer for Difficult Times - The Power of Prayer

Yet, what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory God will give us later. - Romans 8:18(NLT)
Prayer for Difficult Times - Prayer through Pain
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I sit here this morning with a heart that is breaking, knowing that many of your people are in pain and are struggling this day. Prayer for Hard Times -- Making it Personal
Reflect: As hard as it is to understand, it is in the struggles of our lives that we can find the moments of greatest truth. If our hearts and minds are open to His truths, we can find the solace we need for our distress, the wisdom we need for our understanding, and the love we need to sustain us. It’s all in God’s Word. I would encourage anyone who is struggling today to reach for the Bible and turn your pain into His wisdom which will sustain you -- no matter what your circumstances. This is the best time to seek His Face.
